These Brazilian Emeralds are the birthstone of May, and is part of the beryl family, which also includes other coveted stones such as Aquamarine and Morganite. Emeralds name originates from the Greek and Latin for 'Green Gem', due to its vivid and captivating colour.

By their nature, Emeralds have natural inclusions which make every stone different – these are entirely natural and not faults, and we think this is what makes every piece so special! The Emeralds we choose to work with often have a gentle opaque mottling within the stones, which brings out the natural organic origins of these gorgeous gemstones!
